 🏞️ Brand New Biomes

 🌸 Azalea Forest

A beautiful, lush forest filled with azalea bushes, towering azalea trees, and mossy meadows. Rivers flow abundantly through this vibrant landscape, and the underground is rich with massive Lush Caves.

 🪸 Coralrest Cove

Dive into the new Coralrest Cove, a breathtaking aquatic biome overflowing with marine life. Discover tons of new aquatic blocks, colorful corals, and vibrant underwater vegetation.

 💜 Jacaranda Grove

Arguably one of the most gorgeous biomes in the game. Wander through groves of trees with striking purple leaves and fields of lavender flowers. You'll often find patches of podzol scattered across the terrain, giving it a rich, earthy feel.

 🏜️ Lushy Desert

A unique twist on the classic desert! This biome features green vegetation, hidden underground lush caves, algae, and a surprisingly vibrant ecosystem that thrives in the heat.

 🟡 Sulfur Wastes

Inspired by deep underground sulfur caves, this biome brings the toxic beauty to the surface. Watch your step around bubbling sulfur pools and jagged sulfur spikes growing straight out of the ground, all built using the newest Minecraft blocks.

 🌵 Deserts & Mesas

The harsh vanilla deserts and mesas are now more detailed than ever. Discover new types of cacti, scattered bones of ancient creatures, and fresh desert vegetation. Oh, and the Mesa caves? They are now completely unique—expect special eroded terrain, colorful terracotta layers extending deep underground, and new subterranean dangers!

 ❄️ Ice & Snow Biomes

A massive overhaul for the frozen lands!

 Surface: Discover new winter plants and small stalactites hanging beautifully from tree leaves.

 Caves: Delve into frozen caves filled with massive icicles and solid ice structures.

 Frozen Ores: A brand new mechanic! Ores in these cold depths are now frozen solid. You must carefully break the ice layer first before you can mine the precious minerals inside.

 🦒 Savanna

The savanna terrain has been updated with new dry grass and unique ground layers. But the real stars are the revamped acacia trees and the towering, massive Giant Baobab trees that dominate the horizon.

 🐸 Swamps & Swamp Caves

The murky swamps are now densely packed with lilypads, cattails, and rich vegetation. Below ground, the swamp caves have been completely redesigned with hanging vines, exotic mushrooms, and new natural materials.

 ✨ Unique Interactive Mechanics

Better Biomes isn't just about looking pretty; it’s fully interactive thanks to custom scripting!

 🦪 Pearl-bearing Clams: Found on the seafloor! Interact with them to randomly crack them open. If you're lucky, you'll find a precious White Pearl inside!

 🥥 Harvestable Coconuts: Coconuts grow on palm trees. Knock them down, chop them open with an axe to get a Split Coconut, and eat it for survival!

 🧊 Frozen Solid Ores: Exploring ice caves? The ores are completely frozen! You must strategically break the ice layer encasing them before you can collect the actual mineral.

 🍂 Realistic Leaf Decay: Custom tree leaves (like Jacaranda and Palm) decay naturally over time when you chop down their trunks, just like vanilla trees!

 📦 Lost Treasure Boxes: Sunken treasure boxes can be found among shipwrecks and ruins. Crack them open for a surprise!
