EXPERIMENT 8:
This HORRIFY addon allows you to WITNESS the end of time.
The beginning of the infestation:
These parasites will begin their lives in these disgusting meat eggs.

NOTE:
These nests now appear only in the new infected biomes, such as Tissue.
Be careful: when they capture prey, they can explode and release parasites.
Experiment 8 (PARASITES)
These apparently WEAK and DANGEROUS parasites are slow and die in one hit, but IF THEY TOUCH YOU, YOU ARE DEAD.

NOTE:
These little monsters now spawn naturally at night.
They are harmless in the dark, but they HATE THE LIGHT and become AGGRESSIVE when exposed to it.
If they touch you, you will die.
NEW BIOME: TISSUE

A grotesque biome made of living flesh, organic growths, and unstable infected matter.
This is one of the first places where the infestation begins to spread, and where some of its most dangerous structures can generate naturally.

If you see this biome, you’d better turn back… or prepare for the worst.
Mobs List:
Living Flesh Nest:
Parasite Nest Pig
These parasites are born inside disgusting LIVING nests, formed from infected pigs that were “lucky” enough to become part of the infection’s reproduction cycle.

NOTE:
These nests no longer spawn naturally.
They can only be generated from pigs attacked by Experiment 8.
⚠️ If you do not destroy them in time, parasites will continue to spawn and the infestation will grow out of control.
( weather-based variants. )
Human Nest
This unfortunate person has become part of a grotesque nest.
It no longer spawns infected, but drops Human Fat and Human Oil when destroyed.

Note:
We’ve only seen it appear when the parasite is trying to establish a larger nest — or has already succeeded.
Mini Boss:
Infected Iron Golem
This grotesque construct appears when a Corruptor infects an Iron Golem, triggering an unnatural fusion between metal and parasite.
The result is an Infected Iron Golem, a towering abomination that delivers extremely powerful blows and can grab its victims and violently throw them, causing massive damage.

NOTE:
Its strength is overwhelming, and being caught by it often means certain death.
Rare Infected List:
Corruptor
A strange entity that emerges from the corpse of an Infected Human.
It seeks out living beings to merge with — such as normal spiders, infected humans, and Iron Golems — twisting them into new grotesque forms.

Note:
Spawns only when an Infected Human dies.
It actively searches for compatible hosts to infect and mutate.
Infester
This grotesque creature appears when a Corruptor infects an Infected Human, triggering an unnatural fusion.
The result is an Infester, a disturbing entity that helps spread the infestation around it.

Note:
The Infester infects blocks beneath it, accelerating the spread of the infestation.
It doesn’t seem aggressive, and light has no effect on it.
This creature behaves exactly like a normal Infected Cow, but it is considered rare due to the biome it inhabits, making it difficult to encounter.

NOTE:
Its danger does not come from new abilities, but from how uncommon it is to find.
This friendly friend won't bother you as long as you don't bother him with your boring presence but if he detects you he will activate his bioluminescent glands and illuminate the area alerting the other infected of your presence.... he also screams horribly.

NOTE:
Light does not seem to affect his behavior and he tends to stay still when he is calm.
Infected Witch
A twisted remnant of what was once a witch, now completely consumed by the infestation. Unlike other infected, traces of her old alchemical instincts remain, allowing her to fight from a distance with corrupted potions while empowering the infected around her.

She keeps her distance from enemies, retreating whenever they get too close so she can continue attacking with her potions. If her target moves too far away, she advances to stay within throwing range. Nearby infected creatures are strengthened by her presence, making her a dangerous support unit on the battlefield.
NOTE:
She is aggressive, grotesque, and can leave behind horrifying remains when destroyed.
Arm Remnant Witch / Head Remnant Witch
These grotesque remains can be left behind by Infected Witches when their bodies are violently torn apart by the infestation.
Even separated from the main body, they continue to move with unnatural life, dragging themselves forward to attack anything nearby.

NOTE:
They may be smaller than a full infected, but they are still dangerous and harder to notice in the middle of a fight.
Splitter Villager
This malformed infected villager is one of the most disturbing results of the parasite’s evolution.
Its body is unstable and can violently split apart, turning a single infected into an even greater threat.

NOTE:
Do not underestimate it. What looks like one creature may become several problems in seconds.
Arm Remnant Villager / Head Remnant Villager
These grotesque remains can be left behind by Infected Villagers, Snitchers, and Splitter Villagers when their bodies are violently torn apart by the infestation.
Even separated from the main body, they continue to move with unnatural life, dragging themselves forward to attack anything nearby.

NOTE:
They may be smaller than a full infected, but they are still dangerous and perfect for overwhelming careless survivors.
I hope you don't have the misfortune of encountering this monster...

NOTE:
It usually impales survivors with its claws and finishes them off with an impressive bite.
⚠️ Can move through spaces ranging from 1 to 4 blocks in height, making it extremely dangerous in tight areas. ( In development )
Common Infected List:
Infected Survivor
This great adventurer carries with him a juicy level 1 backpack that he will drop when he dies.

NOTE:
Their behavior is no different from an infected human.
Infected Chicken
This creature is fast, strong... and ugly.

NOTE:
Sometimes jumps up to 4 blocks high and hate the light.
( weather-based variants. )
Infected Sheep
A very well articulated creature, behaves like any other infected.

NOTE:
Hates the light like the other infected.
A bizarrely rare spider. Much faster, dangerous and uglier for my taste.

NOTE:
The creature has the ability to climb and shoot webs to catch its prey.
The light makes him aggressive.
It is nothing more than a simple, angry cow with parasites coming out of its voice.
It's just stronger than it appears.

NOTE:
The light makes him aggressive.
( weather-based variants. )
Infected Wolf
Once a loyal companion, this creature has been completely overtaken by the parasite.
It hunts relentlessly, moving in packs and showing no mercy to anything that crosses its path.
Fast, aggressive, and always alert, the Infected Wolf is especially dangerous when encountered in groups.

NOTE:
It becomes extremely aggressive in the light and will chase its prey without rest.
( biome-based variants. )
Infected Human
Zombies that have become hosts of the parasite will turn into this horrific form.
Upon death, there's a 30% chance a Corruptor will emerge from their body.

They wander peacefully — as long as they stay in the dark.
LIGHT MAKES THEM VERY ANGRY!
These creepy creatures will accompany you during your expeditions to the mines DON'T LIGHT A TORCH!

NOTE:
You will find them naturally in the caves, it seems that they do not like the light either.
Be careful because THEY KNOW HOW TO CLIMB!
He's the friendly creeper we all know but better, it seems that he only cares about players!

NOTE:
It will not destroy blocks and if its explosion does not kill you, it will make you dizzy.
The light makes him aggressive.
It seems only interested in the players.
He is no different from the infected human except that he is bigger, stronger, slower and uglier!

NOTE:
The light makes him aggressive.

Backpacks:
Backpack LvL 1
This backpack can be found in various structures and can be dropped by the infected survivor.

From it you will obtain a variety of items that will vary in quantity.

NOTE:
This effect only applies to Experiment 8 parasites and does not affect other infected creatures.
Veil-3 Armor Set
A complete armor set with a more advanced and sinister design, fitting perfectly with the grotesque atmosphere of the addon.
This armor is as strong as Diamond Armor, offering solid protection while maintaining a more sinister and experimental look.
