You must download the System Shield BP file for the addon's behavior, and then the System Shield RP file for the addon's textures. These two files are required for the addon to work properly.

Update V1.7.6
The Shield Configuration Book lets you customize how the custom shields work in your world. From this menu, you can enable or disable all shield abilities, change general settings, or configure each shield separately.
All Shield Abilities
Turns all custom shield abilities ON or OFF.
If this option is OFF, no shield ability will activate, even if each individual shield is enabled.
Individual Shields
Lets you enable or disable each shield ability one by one.
This is useful if you only want some shields to have special powers.
General Options
Lets you configure the general behavior of the addon, such as durability, sounds, particles, and shield hit durability.
Introduction / Help
Shows basic information about how the configuration menu works.
Close
Closes the configuration menu.
General Options
Durability
Controls whether shields and other durability items lose durability when blocking, breaking blocks, or using durability-based actions.
Shield Hit Durability
Controls whether custom shields lose durability when they are used to hit entities.
Sounds
Enables or disables shield sounds, block sounds, and break sounds.
Particles
Enables or disables visual particles created by shield abilities.
Reset All Settings
Restores all shield settings back to their default values.
Individual Shield Options
Magma Shield
Burns enemies that hit your shield.
Dripstone Shield
Deals extra spike damage to enemies that attack you while blocking.
Lapis Shield
Drops XP when you block an attack. This shield is useful if you want to get extra experience while defending yourself.
Slime Shield
Adds stronger knockback while blocking, pushing enemies farther away.
TnT Shield
Damages enemies and creates an explosion particle when blocking attacks.
Mushroom Shield
Poisons enemies that hit your shield.
Glowstone Shield
Creates light around the player while the shield ability is active.
Wither Shield
Applies the wither effect to enemies that attack you.
Ender Shield
Teleports attackers upward after they hit your shield.
Shulker Shield
Makes attackers levitate when they hit your shield.
Recipe Book
If you lose the Configuration Book, you can easily craft it again in a crafting table or directly from your inventory using the following recipe
Lapis Shield
The Lapis Shield is a special shield focused on experience. When a player blocks an attack with this shield, it summons XP, allowing the player to gain extra experience while fighting or defending.

A TNT shield has been added, with the ability to trigger small explosions that deal damage to mobs that hit your shield.

Shields Types
In this version a total of 8 new shields with abilities were added, later other types of shields will be added, the shields have the durability and thrust of a normal shield
Ender Shield
The ender shield will allow you to teleport enemies that hit your shield 10 blocks up, causing it to fall and receive mortal damage, it has a durability of 580, you can repair it with end stone
Magma Shield
The magma shield will allow you to burn enemies that hit your shield, giving a fairly considerable advantage in combat, it has a durability of 510, you can repair it with magma blocks
Dripstone Shield
The dripstone shield will allow you to damage enemies that hit your shield, the damage that the target will receive is equal to the same damage that the enemy dealt + 3, it has a durability of 480, you can repair it with dripstone blocks
Glowstone Shield
The glowstone shield will allow you to light your way both by having it in the main hand and in the 2nd hand, it has a durability of 400, you can repair it with glowstone
Mushroom Shield
The mushroom shield will allow you to give the poison effect to enemies that hit your shield, giving you a fairly large advantage in combat, it has a durability of 350, you can repair it with mushroom blocks
Shulker Shield
The shulker shield will allow you to give the levitation effect to enemies that hit your shield, giving you a fairly large advantage in combat, it has a durability of 450, you can repair it with the shulker shell
Wither Shield
The wither shield will allow you to give the wither effect to enemies that hit your shield, giving you a fairly large advantage in combat, it has a durability of 540, you can repair it with bone blocks
Slime Shield
The slime shield will allow you to give twice the push of a normal shield which will affect enemies that hit your shield, giving you a fairly large advantage in combat, it has a durability of 380, you can repair it with slime blocks
